Hello friends! Today I have another sewing project using the Memoranda fabric by Tim Holtz. This cute little NeedleCase was fun and easy to make and I love having a place to hold pins and needles when I'm hand sewing.
I think the Memoranda collection is the perfect fabric for this charming NeedleCase.

Interfacing:
(2) 6 1/2 X 5” (16.51 x 12.70cm)
Sew fabric strips together as shown and press seams open.
Iron interfacing to the wrong side of the sewn piece from above and the inside piece of the NeedleCase.
Decorate the outside by sewing lace on with your machine.
Hand sew patches and heart on with red Pearl Cotton thread.
Add detail stitching and buttons using red Pearl Cotton.
To create the tie fold fabric in half lengthwise and press, open and then fold edges to center fold line and press again.
Fold in half and sew along the edge of the strip, cut in half at a diagonal and pin to the center of the needle case.
Layer NeedleCase pieces RST (right sides together), add felt layer and pin in place. Sew layers together using a 1/4" seam allowance. Leave a 2” opening for turning.
Clip corners, turn RSO (right sides out) and press.
Top stitch around all sides close to the edge.
Position felt pieces in the center inside of the NeedleCase and draw a faint line down the center and sew on line to hold felt.
Inside there is lots of room to store needles and pins.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
