Fabric Journal/Planner

Friday, August 11th   10:30 am - 6:00 pm
(1/2 hour lunch break included)
Combine a little fabric, ephemera, and paint to create a one-of-a-kind Planner or Journal.  The cover will have a deconstructed feel with lots of simple stitching and embellishments. The inside tabs will be colored with the new Distress Oxide Inks.  Richele will make sure you have time in class just to play and have fun.  This workshop will include printed pages for the planner, dividers, pocket pages, worn cover, fabric, ephemera, vintage buttons, etc. (Richele has also designed  plain pages available to swap if you do not wish to use your book as a planner)  Basic sewing skills are helpful but not a requirement. Please bring a sewing machine (in good working order), black and cream thread and bobbins, scissors, heat tool and your basic class kit. Approximate size of journal is 5 3/4” x 8” x 1 ¾”.  Students will have a choice of 2-3 fabrics for their cover.

Cards in Distress

Hi Rachel
It's Lyssa from Sunday's card class at Queen's Ink (which I loved.). I wish I could have taken all of your classes but real life gets in the way of pleasure. You mention that I should post a comment on your blog to find out how to purchase a kit for the journal class - so here it is.
