Distress Paints Journey Tag

Enjoy the journey says it all. The journey of creativity just keeps getting better and better!

You are going to love the new Distress Paints. This tag features an embossed Metal Foil tag, Idea-ology metal embellishments, die cut words and of corse the Distress Paints. You can see Tim's video here to see the magic.

Cover a #8 tag with Metal Foil tape. Emboss the tag with the Compass Texture Fade. Love this new embossed image!!

Color the tag with Wild Honey, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint and Broken China. Love the fluidity of the paints. It's like they dance on the surface.

Take a paper towel and scrunch it up into a ball. Lightly pounce the paper towel up and down on the surface to blend the colors together.

Partially dry the paint with a heat tool. Remember the metal will get very hot when you heat it so be careful. Let it cool off a little
before you handle it.

With your "Kitchen Roll" lightly swipe it over the surface to take the paint off the raised surface. This will reveal the metal surface. Such a cool effect. You can also sand the surface with a sanding grip to help.

Love how the metallic shows through the paint.

Color the flowers with Wild Honey, Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed. Great colors for my garden.

Paint the leaves. You can see the Distress paints blending right before your eyes.

Paint the bird with Broken China and Chipped Sapphire. Partially dry the paint and then wipe off the excess with a dry paper towel. Sand the bird if desired.

Die cut "Enjoy the Journey" from black kraft'core using the Stacked Artful Words Decorative Strip Sizzlit Die. Pop dot words to the tag. Attach the flowers and leaves to the tag with long fasteners.

Tie paper twine around the tag with a Philosophy tag.

24 new AMAZING Distress Paint! What's going to be your favorite color?
How can you choose? I would get them all!!

Have a great weekend!
