Hi friends! So happy to hear you're all getting inspired.
Thank you so much for the comments!
Sounds like you're making good progress.
This is a quick section! the two children walking down the path to go trick or treating. How FUN!
This is what you'll need. The die cut children from the last post, a couple trees, mini mister bottle, black soot reinker and some moss.
Trim the base off the smaller tree. If you don't have 2 small trees you can always trim the larger tree to be a smaller tree.
Trim the backs of the trees so they will fit in the configuration book.
Mix one dropper full of black soot reinker and fill the mini mister up with water and shake.
Spritz the trees until covered with ink.
Dry with a heat tool.
Sand the children and the cat with a sanding grip. Ink the edges with gathered twig on an ink blending tool.
Adhere the trees to the inside of the little box.
Using foam tape adhere the children. I used a double layer of foam tape.
Add the moss. adhere the cat to the moss.
Add a little piece of moss in front of the cat.
One more section done!
Thanks for stopping in!

Thanks so much for the next instalment, I am having such fun making this box, even though I am having to improvise! Thank you for the ongoing tutorial. Hugs, Anne x
Very cute...Love the black bottle brush trees! TFS Richele.
I absolutely love the trick or treater die. It is on my list as the next one to purchase. I'm having a blast with all of your installments. Thanks!
Glad you're back with the tutorial! Mike and I are having a lot of fun.
You come up with such cute ideas! Thanks for sharing!!!
This is fabulous! I love how you altered those trees.
Loving the step by steps with all the details! Thanks for taking the time to show us how! BTW - your TP boat - too cute and love the use of Tim's hardware!
I really had fun making this part. I just had little green Christmas trees, but they covered completely with the black spray ink (use Dylusions, as that is what I have on hand). I left the little platforms on the trees because they are so short. I'm not particularly fond of moss, so I used some batting that I sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist in Forever Red. I wanted it to look like blood colored fog. It got really wet, so I used a heat tool on it. I don't know if it's because Perfect Pearls has mica in it or if it was synthetic batting or if it was a combo of both, but the batting shrunk up and pulled apart. It turned out really creepy, so it turned out better than I expected. I ended up using only one layer of foam tape on the trick r treaters and that left them looking too flat. So, I found some old sequins shaped like skulls and glued them in the sky and on the base of one tree. Kinda silly.
