STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp and the NEW Tim Holtz Stamp set.

Hello everyone! I'm so excited to be a part of the festivities for the NEW Simon Says Stamp exclusive set from Tim Holtz and Stampers Anonymous. After you look around here, don't forget to check out all the inspiration over at Simon Says Stamp blog

Here's the new set!
So many favorites...the party hat…the coffee cup and the clock…actually I love them all!
I think the size is ideal for card making! I fell in love with last years set and have used it all year long. I was so happy to add another set to the collection!

Love how fast these cards came together with just a few supplies.
The New Exclusive Stamp Set by Tim Holtz, Distress Markers, Distress Stain, Waterbrush, Type Tokens, Watercolor Cardstock, Kraft-core cardstock, Jute String, Loop Pins and Postage Stamp Frame Bigz Die for the card shape.

Create a wrinkle free distress background by applying Distress Stain directly to your Craft Sheet and swiping Watercolor cardstock through the ink and dry with a Heat Tool. Repeat as desired.

Add a little ink through a Layering Stencil using Distress Ink on an Ink Blending Tool.

The New Distress Sprayer has a feature that I love…if you pull the trigger slowly is spits water droplets to create light spots on your background.

Stamp the image of your choice from the the Simon Says Stamp Tim Holtz Exclusive Stamp set on to the background piece with Jet Black Archival Ink.

Using the Distress Spritzer and Distress Markers add a little extra texture. The Distress Spritzer also fits other brands of markers.

Stamp another image on to Watercolor Cardstock and trim out with scissors.

Color image with Distress Marker and blend the color with a Waterbrush.

Cut a piece of Watercolor cardstock a little larger then the background pieces for a matt. Ink with an Ink Blending tool for the perfect match.

Score and fold a piece of Kraft-core Cardstock large enough to die cut the Postage Stamp Bigz Die with the fold just inside the the cutting blades to create the card. Sand and ink the card with Distress Ink on an Ink Blending Tool.

Add a little Distress Paint to the Typed Tokens, let partially dry then rub off excess paint and paint will remain in the word.
Assemble your card by adhering the layers together, add a little stitching if desired and attach some embellishments.

I think this one is my favorite!
