Pop 'n Cut Hello Card

Hi blog friends! I've been busy prepping for my class this Saturday at Stampers Corner but I just had to make a card for all of you just to say HELLO! The challenge this month at Inspiration Emporium is "ADD A LITTLE POP"! Please join us in the challenge! Click here for the details.

It's a Pop 'n Cuts kind of day don't you think? If you haven't seen these die by Karen Burniston they are amazing!! Check out Karen's blog here and here is a great video to get you started.

Stamp 4 butterflies onto watercolor paper with Jet Black Archival ink.

Color the Butterflies with Distress Ink on an Ink Bending tool. This is a fast way to color your images. After coloring cut the Butterflies out with scissors.

Die cut the flowers from watercolor paper with the Karen Burniston Hello Sizzlits Die set. This set comes with 3 dies, the Hello, the Flowers and a fun swirl. Before you punch the images out color the flowers with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink.

Now after die cutting the Hello from watercolor paper color the rainbow over the Hello. Because Distress Ink stays wet longer the color blend so easily. After coloring punch out the Hello.

Paint all the pieces with Glue 'n Seal then coat with Rock Candy Distress Dry Glitter.

To make the leaves, color a flower with Mowed Lawn Distress ink. Paint with Glue 'n Seal and add the Dry Glitter. When dry cut into 4 pieces.

Just look at the sparkle of the Dry Glitter.

To make your card die cut the inside and outside of the card with white card stock. The insert I used on the inside is the Karen Burniston 3-D Flower Pop Up die in the base. Fold the inside card as shown above.

I attached one of the Butterflies with a wire to "ADD A LITTLE P.O.P"! Use a strong tap like red line tape to insure good contact. To position this Butterfly I find it easiest to close the card to make sure the Butterfly is within the folded card.

Add the other 2 Butterflies and the flowers with pop dots. Reinstones in the centers of the flowers adds a nice touch.

Here is a view from the side. Lots of POP here.

Take a look at the front! All the elements were POP'ed . Adhere the outside card to the inside. WOW what a great card to wish you all a little HELLO!!
