Creativations 2018 - Tim Holtz Blog Hop and Give Away!

Hello friends! Thanks so much for joining us all today. I'm so excited to be hosting a Blog Hop featuring projects from Creativations 2018. Several talented artist shared their creativity and made beautiful samples for the Tim Holtz brads (Idea-ology, Sizzix Alterations and Stampers Anonymous). You are in for a big treat so grab a cup of coffee or tea and join me on this creative journey. Don't forget to leave a comment on the bolgs for a chance to win prizes (details below). You also don't want to miss Tim's fabulous recap of Creativations complete with booth video tours, check it out here!

The project I'm sharing today was for the Sizzix booth featuring the new Funky Florals #1 Thinlits set, Alpha Numeric 3/4"Thinlits, Cut Out Script Bigz XL die and the Tea Time Bigz die.

The Funky Florals set comes with lots of different flowers in the one set.
I can't wait for the other 2 set to come out.

First I chose a color palette, pinks, reds, gold and greens with a little black for the centers. I added Sizzix adhesive sheets to the back of the card stock before die cutting.

I die cut lots of flowers and greenery to work with. I love that the dies fit through the little Side Kick. The Side Kick is so convenient. I also use foam dots to elevate some of the flowers and the tea cup.

LIVE LIFE IN FULL was die cut from the 3/4 " Alphanumeric Thinlits die set and BLOOM was cut with the new Cut Out Script Bigz XL die, the die was designed so the letter connect to each other so you can create words.

I used the Framed Panel from Idea-ology, stained it with Vintage Photo Distress Spray Stain then added a little Ranger Foil Sheets was added to the raised part of the frame with Collage Glue Stick.

A huge THANK YOU to Tim Holtz for creating innovative products for all of us to use. He always AMAZES me!

PRIZES, PRIZES, PRIZES!

I ADORE the vibrant colors on black, the whole design is this perfect combination of cheery and classy, and every time I see it I find another detail - just amazing!

And our cups overflowth with Richele's creativity. When I first saw this funky floral, I said a word that sounded like "dang". Well done as always. BTW, Richele was such an inspiration to me in my earliest papercrafting, "Who the heck is Tim Holtz" days. You r indeed n inspiration.

Apologies for the double post, correcting the spelling of Richele's name and no way to edit/delete first one. :-) Ah, technology!

I’ve never participated in a Blog Hop, so when I saw that YOU were hosting one...well, I couldn’t think of a better place to begin!! (I sure hope I’m doing it right) Ms. Richele, your project is an absolute showstopper!!! So creative, so detailed and so YOU! It is a SUPER inspiration for something I’d like to make (maybe a Mother’s Day gift, for my Mama ). Thank you for sharing your delightful creations.

I have to say, although I love EVERY die set (both past AND the new releases) that Tim has put out...I wasn’t sure this was going to be on my “right away” list...that is, until I saw what your talented hands did, in this delightful piece. Ms. Richele, I believe this work topped all the samples I saw, this year! Lovely, lovely, LOVELY!!! I can’t WAIT to try this, for myself. I would love to be able to make something very much like it, for my newest Granddaughter’s room. The colors you chose are JUST like the color scheme my daughter used for Baby Sloane’s room. Thank you for making our crafting experience exciting and fun!
